Full Job Description

Job Summary
The Purchasing/Receiving Clerk plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of our organization. This position is responsible for managing incoming shipments, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and maintaining a well-organized receiving area. The ideal candidate will have experience in purchasing, shipping and receiving processes, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively.

Responsibilities

Placing orders with our suppliers and vendors.
Confirming the proper equipment is allocated to projects for field staff and outside sales
Data input of invoices from suppliers and cross-referencing accuracy for equipment orders placed as well as received
Maintaining accurate records of stock on hand, rotating as required

Skills

Basic math skills for accurate inventory management.
Experience with load/unloading procedures.
Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, creating shipping labels with UPS, Fedex and USPS.
Proficiency in order picking techniques and experience as an order picker
Proficient with Windows based programs
Excellent written and spoken communication skills

This position is essential for maintaining the flow of goods in our company, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Applicants must have reliable transportation. Applicants must pass a mandated criminal background check.

Preference is given to those with a background in electronics, electronic security and/or life safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
