Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR initiatives and foster a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace environment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of human resources management, from talent acquisition and employee relations to organizational development and compliance. Your energetic leadership will drive our HR strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals while promoting a culture of growth, engagement, and excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence organizational success through innovative HR practices and strategic planning.

Duties

Lead talent acquisition efforts by developing sourcing strategies, managing applicant tracking systems (ATS), conducting interviews, and overseeing onboarding processes including employee orientation.
Manage employee relations by addressing conflicts, facilitating communication, and implementing programs to enhance workplace harmony.
Oversee performance management systems, including employee evaluations, goal setting, and succession planning to support continuous development.
Ensure compliance with employment laws such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), labor law regulations, and workers' compensation policies.
Administer benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans,and manage benefits administration.
Develop organizational design initiatives to optimize structure, improve process efficiencies, and support change management efforts across departments.
Supervise HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors for data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform strategic decisions.
Facilitate training & development programs aimed at enhancing employee skills, leadership capabilities, and overall human capital management.
Manage HR program implementation related to employee engagement, conflict resolution, OSHA compliance, and process improvement initiatives.

Experience

Must have worked as an HR Specialist in a nonprofit
Proven experience in human resources management with a strong background in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
Must be able to work and communicate in a team environment with the Bookkeeper, Payroll Specialist, Program Director and Executive Director.
Must be familiar with FAMS through OCFS
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in process improvement initiatives.
Prior work in a fast-paced environment supporting senior leadership through strategic HR initiatives; capacity for change management is key. Join us to shape a vibrant workplace culture where your leadership drives growth and innovation!
