Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook and bring your passion for food to life! In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen, preparing fresh ingredients, cooking delicious dishes, and ensuring every plate meets our high standards of quality and safety. Your culinary skills will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests while maintaining a lively, fast-paced environment that celebrates teamwork and excellence. Whether you’re slicing vegetables, assembling meals, or supporting the kitchen’s daily operations, your contribution will be vital to our success.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing using proper knife skills and slicing techniques to ensure efficiency and safety.
Assist in cooking a variety of menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards.
Maintain food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures and safety protocols during all stages of food preparation.
Support meal preparation for daily service, catering events, or special functions with attention to detail and consistency.
Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies to promote a safe and efficient kitchen environment.
Follow dietary department guidelines and dietary aide practices when handling specialized meal requests or dietary restrictions.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and uphold the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting.
Strong knowledge of safety standards in production environments and food safety management practices.
Experience with menu planning and meal preparation that emphasizes quality and efficiency.
Excellent knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques for various ingredients.
Familiarity with dietary department procedures, dietary aide responsibilities, and catering experience is a plus.
Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Knowledge of food handling regulations, sanitation practices, and serving protocols to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
