Full Job Description

Job Summary
New kitchen with a Fried chicken and BBQ menu. Need a cook that has experience in maintaining food quality control, setting up processes for staff to increase productivity and limit wait times. Organize food prep, order and organize kitchen inventory.

Duties

Lead and manage all food service operations, including kitchen activities
Supervise culinary staff, ensuring high standards of food preparation, presentation, and safety are maintained at all times
Oversee menu planning and food production processes to deliver innovative and high-quality offerings aligned with brand standards
Manage inventory control and procurement to optimize food costs while maintaining freshness and quality
Implement strict food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations and industry best practices
Coordinate shift schedules, monitor staff performance, and provide ongoing training to foster team development
Oversee dietary department functions, ensuring special dietary needs are met with precision and care
Maintain excellent customer service standards by supervising serving staff during events and meal periods
Collaborate with management on budget planning, cost control measures, and operational improvements
Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety of all kitchen areas in accordance with sanitation standards

Qualifications

Proven experience in fast food businesses
Demonstrated supervising experience leading culinary teams in fast-paced environments
Strong background in dietary department management and food safety procedures
Extensive knowledge of food production techniques, menu planning, and kitchen management systems
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work culture
Hands-on experience in inventory management, food handling, and cost control strategies
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and service delivery
Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and guest satisfaction
