Responsibilities

Prepare and cook breakfast items according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, poachers, braising pans, and food production stations safely and efficiently.
Follow food safety sanitizing procedures rigorously to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
Assist in menu planning and ingredient prep to support daily breakfast service needs.
Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling techniques and dietary guidelines.
Maintain accurate portion control and recipe adherence during meal preparation.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy breakfast hours while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Qualifications

Previous dietary aide or food service experience preferred; experience in fine dining or high-volume production is a plus.
Strong knowledge of food safety management, sanitizing procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
Skilled in various cooking methods including grilling, braising, poaching, and general food preparation.
Proficient with operating kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, knives, and other culinary tools.
Demonstrated ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering is advantageous.
Excellent knife skills and familiarity with food industry standards are highly desirable.
