Full Job Description

Take on a rewarding contract opportunity as a school psychologist in the vibrant Bangor, ME area. Collaborate within a supportive educational environment while making a significant impact on students' academic and emotional well-being. Desired Qualifications:

Valid state certification or licensure as a school psychologist (or the ability to obtain)
Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or closely related field
Experience conducting educational and psychological assessments
Strong understanding of IEP processes, MTSS/RTI frameworks, and special education law
Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and interpret cognitive, behavioral, and academic assessments for referred students
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and implement IEPs
Provide individual and group counseling services
Support crisis intervention and provide resources for mental health and behavioral concerns
Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote positive student outcomes
Develop strategies to support and enhance the learning environment for diverse learners
