The Position:
Job Developer will report to the Program Manager and involved networking in the private and public sectors to develop career & post-secondary building opportunities for YouthBuild participants and organize alumni engagement opportunities. Additional responsibilities for this position shall include, but not limited to, assisting with development of effective life skills, positive leadership skills, the skills necessary to set and achieve short- and long-term goals.
Role and ResponsibilityGeneral & Compliance and Monitoring
- Develop and maintain partnerships in the public and private sectors that will provide career and post-secondary opportunities that are aligned with YouthBuild participants' interests and goals.
- Design, track, report and document participant/alumni placement statistics, success stories and employment progress for a minimum of one year post program completions.
- Contribute to YouthBuild program referrals in ways that meet both employment and educational needs and expectations.
- Connect and continually engage with YouthBuild USA's Career Pathways Team, and the Alumni Engagement Team.
- Attend professional development trainings and community events (as needed, which may include weekends).
- Work collaboratively with program manager and to provide qualitative and quantitative outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with case manager and construction staff to provide resources to participants.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite, etc.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Efficient time management.
Employment Requirements:
- Proof of a negative TB test (within 60 days of hire)
- Must pass background check.
- No prior convictions related to violence or harm against children.
- Cannot have assault or fraud charges on record.
- May not be a registered sex offender.

Pay: $4,320.00 - $4,640.00 per month
