Territory Sales Manager — Semiconductor, Optics & Advanced Materials (California + Arizona)

Location: California or Arizona

Travel: ~50%

Compensation: $110,000–$140,000 base + commission (OTE $150,000–$200,000)

Benefits: Company‑paid travel, full medical, liberal PTO

About Us

We supply advanced slicing & dicing fluids used in semiconductor wafer processing, precision optics manufacturing, sapphire and fused‑silica machining, and technical ceramics. Our patented high‑molecular‑weight PAG chemistry delivers industry‑leading lubricity, ultra‑low foam, and superior brittle‑material finish.

We are expanding aggressively into the semiconductor and precision‑optics markets in California and Arizona — two of the highest‑value regions in North America.

This role is not just a territory job. It is the foundation of a new slicing & dicing fluids division.

The successful candidate will:

Build the initial CA + AZ sales territory
Shape product strategy and market positioning
Establish key relationships across semiconductor fabs, optics manufacturers, and advanced‑materials machining houses
Drive early revenue and expansion
Earn the opportunity to lead a full North American division as the business scales

Role Overview

We are seeking a proven, self‑directed sales professional to develop the California and Arizona markets. You will open new accounts, run technical trials, and build long‑term relationships across semiconductor, optics, sapphire, fused silica, and ceramics machining operations.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high‑growth environments, enjoys building territories from the ground up, and wants a clear path to division leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and grow the CA + AZ sales territory
Call on semiconductor fabs, wafer‑processing houses, optics shops, sapphire and ceramics machining operations
Identify opportunities for slicing/dicing fluids, coolants, and related consumables
Run on‑site trials and document performance improvements
Build a strong pipeline and close new business
Work independently and manage your own schedule
Contribute to long‑term division strategy and expansion

Required Experience

5+ years selling consumables into semiconductor, optics, photonics, or advanced‑materials markets
Current existing customer relationships in CA or AZ
Experience with wafer dicing, CMP, thin‑film, photonics, diamond tooling, or precision machining
Proven track record of opening new accounts and managing a technical territory
Ability to travel ~50%

Preferred Experience

Familiarity with DISCO, K&S, laser‑dicing, sapphire slicing, fused‑silica machining, or ceramics fabrication
Background in coolants, slurries, chemicals, or abrasives
Experience in high‑growth or division‑building environments

Compensation & Benefits

$110,000–$140,000 base salary
Commission plan with OTE of $150,000–$200,000
