Full Job Description

Personnel Placements, LLC is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our client’s team in Gallaway, TN. This role is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. The ideal candidate will have strong machining knowledge, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and a commitment to quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Set up and operate CNC machines.
2. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine job specifications.
3. Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy.
4. Perform CAM programming for efficient machine operation.
5. Conduct electrical discharge machining (EDM) as needed.
6. Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles in machining processes.
7. Maintain tooling and equipment in optimal working condition.
8. Assemble components per design specifications.
9. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and improve production processes.
10. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar manufacturing role.
2. Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation.
3. Experience with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
4. Familiarity with plastics injection molding processes is a plus.
5. Strong tooling setup and maintenance skills.
6. Ability to perform CAM programming.
7. High attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
9. High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.
