Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and other confections, following established recipes with accuracy and consistency
Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair to meet customer specifications and enhance visual appeal
Handle food preparation tasks such as slicing, mixing, portioning, and assembling ingredients efficiently
Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including mixers, ovens, knives, and other culinary tools
Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to food safety management practices and sanitation standards throughout shifts
Assist in food industry operations such as packaging products for retail or catering purposes while ensuring quality control
Support high-volume production needs by managing multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality or safety

Skills

Proficiency in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently within a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling techniques, and sanitation protocols
Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency across large batches of baked goods
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks while adhering to production deadlines
Customer service orientation with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory levels
Catering or restaurant experience is highly desirable for understanding high-volume food production dynamics

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
