Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Head Chef and Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team with passion and precision. This dynamic role combines creative menu planning, exceptional food production, and comprehensive kitchen management to deliver outstanding dining experiences. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong leadership, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and quality. As a pivotal figure in our hospitality operation, you will inspire your team, oversee daily kitchen activities, and ensure seamless food service operations that delight our guests.

Duties

Lead and supervise all kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment focused on excellence in food preparation and service
Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining consistency with brand standards
Oversee food production processes, ensuring dishes meet quality standards, presentation expectations, and dietary requirements
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste through effective cost control measures
Enforce strict adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures, sanitation standards, and health regulations to ensure a safe dining environment
Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely preparation and flawless execution of large-scale meals
Oversee shift management, including scheduling staff, assigning tasks, and maintaining smooth operational flow during busy periods

Skills

Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining and catering environments
Proven supervising experience with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively
Deep knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitizing procedures, and handling practices within the food industry
Strong skills in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management with an emphasis on quality control
Experience in inventory management, cost control, and food industry best practices for managing resources efficiently
Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff, manage shifts confidently, and foster a positive work culture
Familiarity with banquet operations, dietary department standards, and hospitality service excellence
Competence in managing restaurant or hospitality operations including food service management experience and restaurant management skills
Ability to multitask effectively in high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail in food handling and serving processes
