Are you passionate about culinary arts and have experience in large catering event cooking? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working as part of a dynamic team? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our local catering company! Ingle Eats is looking to expand our catering operations to include sorority and fraternity houses, large catered events, weddings, meal delivery, corporate luncheons, and anything in between. We are currently expanding our culinary team and looking for experienced, high volume Chefs with a minimum of 5 years of large volume cooking. About Us:

Our local company, Ingle Eats, is known for providing scratch-made, delicious, home cooked meals delivered to your doorstep. We started as a local meal delivery company feeding families, and we have recently expanded to include all catering services. We take pride in offering a diverse, International menu that embraces culinary trends while maintaining a high standard of quality. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Job Responsibilities:

- Lead planning and organizing the overall kitchen operations, ensuring a seamless workflow and adherence to food safety standards for our team

- Oversee and participate in all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation, including creating menus for meals and special events

- Supervise kitchen staff to ensure high standards of quality and efficiency are met

- Help plan, order, and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies

- Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to sanitation and safety standards at all times

- Adapt and cater to dietary restrictions, allergies, and preferences of sorority/fraternity members when creating menus

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a high-volume kitchen, preferably in a banquet. bulk cooking, or catering setting

- Proven ability to work well under pressure, multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively

- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cohesively with a diverse team

- Adept at problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment

- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

- A dedicated leader who leads by example

- Availability to work mornings, evenings, and some weekends as required
