Job Type: Part-Time · Remote

Summary
We are a growing mortgage company looking for a part-time Licensed Loan Officer Assistant / Junior Loan Officer to join our origination team. This role is ideal for someone who holds an active state mortgage license (Florida or Texas) and has real, hands-on experience running accurate borrower pre-qualifications and income calculations.

Responsibilities

Run detailed borrower pre-qualifications, including accurate income calculations (W-2, self-employed, 1099, rental income, and other complex income types)
Review borrower financial documentation and identify which loan programs best fit each profile
Support the loan officer team through each stage of the file, from initial qualification to file preparation
Communicate clearly with clients and referral partners in both English and Spanish
Keep client and pipeline data updated in the CRM (Monday.com)

Requirements

Active Mortgage Loan Originator license (NMLS), valid in Florida or Texas, in good standing
Demonstrated experience performing pre-qualifications and income/DTI calculations
Solid understanding of Conventional, FHA, VA and/or Non-QM loan programs
Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Available part-time, with flexibility to coordinate schedules with the team

Compensation: $18-$24/hour, based on experience — part-time, remote
