PS Data Services Inc. – Software Developer (Windows, SQL & Reporting)
We are a software company specializing in ERP Software for Steel Industry. We are currently seeking an SQL & Windows Desktop Application Developer who is passionate about all things technical.

The position is in Middletown, Ohio where you'll be surrounded by a small group of passionate people and the latest technology. We keep things fun, fast-paced and are constantly challenging ourselves.

Applicants must be U.S. Citizens or lawful Permanent Residents of the United States.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Required Skills:
Fundamental knowledge of SQL and relational databases

Understanding of database structure and theories

Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns

Proficiency in developing SSRS reports and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using Microsoft SQL Server.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Able to work in a team and independently

We’re seeking candidates with a proven track record and several years of relevant experience.

Ability to travel up to 25% based on business and customer requirements.

Job responsibilities would include (but are not limited to):

Design, develop, and maintain Windows desktop applications.
Collaborate with other development to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions to support application features.
Design and maintain database schemas, tables, indexes, and relationships for efficient data management.
Implement and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code while following industry best practices.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize both application and database performance for scalability and stability.
Integrate desktop applications with SQL Server solutions, ensuring secure data access.
Perform data analysis, reporting, and data migrations as part of application workflows.
Participate in code and database design reviews, providing feedback to ensure best practices.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for both application and database components.
Perform testing, deployment, and ongoing support of software solutions.
Contribute to software architecture and database design decisions to support long-term growth.
