Full Job Description

Estimator / Project Manager

Estimate Mechanical, Plumbing, Piping, HVAC Work from Plans and specifications.
Compile pricing from subcontractors and vendors for full project scope for submission to owners & General Contractors.
Complete Job buyout process of Materials & Equipment for new projects.
Issue subcontracts to subcontractors & purchase orders to vendors.
Review project budgets to ensure profitability.
Compile submittal packages of all project materials and equipment for review by General Contractors, Design Team, & Other project members.
Staff projects with materials, equipment, tools, & labor as projects progress.
Interpret Design documents, schematics, & project plans for installation by field personnel.
Ensure field installations conform to code requirements, and adhere to all project design documents, while maintaining project profitability.
Work directly with Field superintendents to generate RFI's, provide installation guidance and design interpretation.
Generate AIA Monthly billings for submission to Owners & General Contractors based on work progress.
Approve Vendor & Subcontractor monthly pay requests.
Review Monthly Job Cost reports to ensure projects are on budget.
Attend Jobsite Progress meetings with Owners, General Contractors, and Subcontractors, to review project progress and field issues.
Provide Job Cost & Profitability projections to Company officers for review.
Compile project closeout documents upon completion of projects in conformance with all specifications.
