Full Job Description

Road Machinery & Supplies Co. is searching for an Executive Administrative Assistant to join its team at its Savage, MN location. In this role, you will be responsible for administrative and clerical support for the Owner, President, senior staff members, and other departments as required, reporting directly to the President.

Responsibilities:

Maintains and manages schedules and organizes activities such as meetings, travel, conferences, business activities, and tickets for members of the senior staff.
Creates letters, presentations, charts, graphs, business plans. Organizes, enters, and maintains information and generates reports in support of the senior staff functions. Proofreads copy for spelling, accuracy and makes changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final documents.
Answers non-routine correspondence and assembles highly sensitive and confidential information.
Deals with a diverse group of important external callers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization.
Filters incoming calls.
Provide administrative support for other corporate functions/support as requested.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills:

Associate degree required; college degree preferred.
Previous experience of 3 + years in a similar role at a management staff support level.
Strong keyboard skills and proficient knowledge level of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint-ability to learn new programs with ease.
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
Ability to relate to all levels of the organization and work effectively with all employee groups.
Ability to be flexible, work efficiently, and take the initiative to accomplish work with little supervision.
Scrupulously maintains and protects confidentiality of sensitive information.
Ability to recognize items requiring escalation.
Excellent communication skills (active listening, writing, speaking & telephone)
Exhibits a positive attitude.
Ability to present professional demeanor and appearance at all times.

Able to work responsibly, safely, and intelligently.
Have the desire to take action, improve, and be appreciative.
Possess the capability to engage with customers, co-workers, and vendors in a respectful manner.

Physical Requirements:

Standing, walking, sitting, using hands, talking, hearing
Prolonged periods sitting at desk and working on a computer and phone.
Frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
