Full Job Description

FX Truck Center – Ocala, FL

FX Truck Center is looking for a skilled, motivated Fabricator / TIG Welder to join our team.

Starting pay is $21.00 per hour PLUS bonus opportunities, with higher pay available based on experience, skills, and certifications.

TIG welding experience is required.

We are looking for someone who can fabricate, problem-solve, and take a project from an idea or repair need to a quality finished product. Our work is varied, so you won’t necessarily be doing the same thing every day.

What You’ll Be Doing

TIG welding and metal fabrication
Fabricating, modifying, and repairing components
Cutting, fitting, forming, and assembling metal
Reading measurements and working from drawings, specifications, or existing components
Performing custom fabrication and repair work
Working with a variety of metals and materials
Using fabrication tools, welders, grinders, saws, and related shop equipment
Measuring accurately and maintaining proper fit and finish
Troubleshooting and developing practical solutions for custom projects and repairs
Producing clean, strong, quality welds and finished work

What We’re Looking For

TIG welding experience is required
Previous fabrication experience
Strong welding and metalworking skills
Ability to measure, cut, fit, and fabricate accurately
Ability to work independently and solve problems
Attention to detail and pride in your finished work
MIG welding and additional welding experience are a plus
Welding certifications are a plus and may qualify you for higher starting pay
Must be dependable, productive, and willing to take on a variety of projects

Starting at $21.00/hour + bonuses. Pay increases based on your proven experience, skills, and certifications.
