We’re growing fast and looking for a Commercial/Industrial Electrician who’s ready to hit the road and make a difference.

Job Overview

As a Traveling Commercial/Industrial Electrician, you’ll be at the forefront of deploying clean energy solutions across the country. You’ll work on new installations, commissioning, and maintenance of commercial electrical systems supporting alternative fuel technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial/industrial electrical systems
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes
Work closely with project managers and site supervisors to meet project timelines
Maintain construction schedule while identifying and solving potential problems
Assist in scheduling all inspections as required and ensure proper results
Maintaining positive relationship with customers, subcontractors, suppliers and other employees
Compile and ensure completion of ongoing punch-list as needed
Promote job site safety by ensuring site is clean and presentable at all times
Travel extensively across the U.S. (Monday–Saturday)
Travel home once per month (This is a 100% traveling position)

Qualifications

Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician (preferred)
3+ years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work
Strong knowledge of NEC and OSHA safety standards
Experience with conduit bending, panel wiring, and control systems
Comfortable working in the field and in outdoor environments
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to read and follow electrical code, manuals, wiring and circuitry diagrams, blueprints, schematics and other electrical specifications
Ability to troubleshoot, diagnosis, and repair electric issues, systems and components independently with minimum direction and supervision
Utilize hand tools, power tools, as well as electrical and electronic test equipment
Willing to work in inclement weather conditions
Good work history, valid driver’s license, ability to pass required background checks and drug screening
Flexible, well organized, detail oriented and multi-tasked
Ability to communicate with client, inspectors, and other professionals as needed
Available to work flexible hours, avg. of 50+ hours per week, or as needed
Must be willing and able to travel 100% of the time
Must reside within one hour of a major airport and be willing to travel as required.
