CNC Lathe & Mill Programmer, Setup

About us

MG Machine Inc. is a family owned Machine Shop located in Belton, MO

MG Machine, Inc. is looking for skilled and experienced CNC Machinists to operate precision machinery and produce a quality product for our customers. Manual dexterity and attention to detail are necessary. The ideal candidate will have experience using precision machinery and a mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

Program, setup, adjust and operate machine tools to perform precision machining operations with CNC mills, lathes and CNC Swiss. Knowledge of Mastercam a plus.
Apply knowledge of mathematics to calculate dimensions & tolerances.
Observe machine operations to detect work piece defects / machine malfunctions & adjust machinery as necessary.
Perform minor machine maintenance, such as oiling and cleaning.
Maintain a safe & orderly work area.

Requirements

Ability to interpret & translate blueprint drawings.
Strong analytical & problem solving skills.
Knowledge of metal properties and other materials.
Must occasionally lift and/or lower up to 50 pounds.
Employee is regularly required to stand.
Excellent manual dexterity, accuracy & attention to detail.

Accepting applications Monday through Friday, 7 AM through 3:30 PM.

Pay is based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Work Days: Monday through Friday. (Paid time off for most common Holidays)

Work hours:

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; normal hours.

6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Thursday & 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Friday when working overtime hours.
