Role: Catering Sales Manager - Riverview Inn & Suites | Ascend Hotel Collection - Rockford, Illinois

Riverview Inn & Suites is looking for a high-energy, entrepreneurial Catering Sales Manager to lead the growth of our catering, wedding, banquet, social, and corporate event business.

This is an opportunity for a top sales professional who knows how to create business—not simply respond to it. We are looking for someone who is energized by prospecting, building relationships, developing partnerships, and turning opportunities into revenue.

What You’ll Do:

You will be responsible for growing event and catering revenue by:

Building and expanding a strong local sales network.
Creating new business through proactive prospecting and relationship development.
Growing wedding, social, corporate, group, and banquet business.
Developing strategic partnerships throughout the Rockford community.
Creating compelling client experiences that drive conversion and repeat business.
Maximizing revenue through creative sales strategies and upselling opportunities.
Partnering with hotel operations to ensure the experience delivered exceeds expectations.
Representing Riverview as a leading destination for meetings, celebrations, and events.

Hotel catering, event, banquet, wedding, or hospitality sales experience is required!
