Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to lead and oversee the daily functions of our hospitality establishment. This pivotal role involves managing all aspects of hotel operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of hotel management systems and guest service standards. Join us to drive excellence in hospitality services while fostering a positive environment for both guests and team members. This role will oversee all of the housekeeping, front desk, laundry and more.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring smooth coordination across departments including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and guest services.
Supervise and manage hospitality teams, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and efficient workforce.
Implement and uphold hotel guest service standards to deliver memorable experiences that exceed expectations.
Manage hospitality reservation systems and property management systems (PMS) to optimize room bookings, availability, and revenue management strategies.
Develop and manage budgets for hospitality operations, including controlling expenses, maximizing revenue opportunities, and ensuring financial targets are met.
Coordinate with human resources on staffing needs, recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations to maintain a high-performing team.
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and security regulations while ensuring property maintenance standards are consistently met or exceeded.
Utilize managerial communication skills to liaise effectively with staff, vendors, and guests—handling inquiries via multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy.
Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement in customer service delivery, operational efficiency, and revenue growth.

Skills

Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance guest interactions across diverse populations.
Proven experience supervising hospitality teams within a hotel environment with strong leadership capabilities.
Extensive knowledge of hotel management practices including revenue management, budgeting, financial operations, and human resources management.
Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems such as Opera or similar PMS platforms; adept at managing property management software (PMS).
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on maintaining high hotel guest service standards.
Strong managerial communication skills combined with effective phone etiquette for multi-line phone systems.
Ability to oversee daily hotel operations efficiently while managing hospitality operations budgets responsibly.
Experience in handling guest relations issues promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
