Veterinary Assistant / Dog Groomer Assistant – World of Animals, Mayfair

We’re looking for caring, reliable team members to join us as a Veterinary Assistant and/or Dog Groomer Assistant.

Veterinary Assistant Responsibilities
- Help veterinarians and technicians with exams, vaccines, and lab work (no surgery assistance required)
- Safely handle and restrain dogs and cats during exams or procedures
- Perform routine patient care such as nail trims, ear cleaning, and weight checks
- Maintain clean exam rooms and treatment areas
- Assist with curbside appointments and client communication
- Restock supplies and keep the hospital organized
Dog Groomer Assistant Responsibilities
- Bathe, brush, dry, and help prepare pets for grooming
- Gently handle pets of all sizes and temperaments
- Clean grooming tools and work areas between pets
- Help check in/out clients and confirm requested services
- Monitor pets for signs of stress or skin concerns
- Keep towels and supplies stocked and organized
What We’re Looking For
- Passion for animals and commitment to their well-being
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask in a busy environment
- Prior animal care or grooming experience a plus, but training available
- Must be comfortable handling dogs and cats
