Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry, with a passion for providing comprehensive patient care and improving oral health outcomes. As an Associate Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing dental conditions, developing treatment plans, and performing a wide range of dental procedures in a professional and patient-centered environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your clinical skills while delivering exceptional care to diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, to accurately diagnose oral health issues.
Perform general dentistry procedures such as dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canal therapy using aseptic techniques.
Utilize dental imaging and medical documentation tools to record treatment plans and progress in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
Collaborate with specialists in areas such as orthodontics, periodontics and endodontics to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and current best practices in infection control and patient safety.
Ensure all dental procedures adhere to legal standards and clinic policies while maintaining high standards of client communication and professionalism.
Manage dental fabrication processes for crowns, bridges, or implants as needed within the scope of general dentistry practice.

Skills

Current New Hampshire Dental License
Proficiency with dental office management software
Excellent patient and team communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly and compassionately.
Demonstrated expertise in medical imaging interpretation and diagnosis of dental conditions.
Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other invasive procedures efficiently and safely.
Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a sterile environment.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations governing medical records privacy and security.
Strong organizational skills for managing patient records accurately within electronic health record systems.
