Compensation: $20.00–$25.00 per hour

About the role

Prepare delicious, resident-centered meals that nourish body and soul.

You’ll work alongside the culinary team to deliver a five-senses dining experience in a positive, learning-focused kitchen.

What you’ll do

Prepare and present quality meals according to menus and standards
Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines
Assist with inventory, labeling, storage, and kitchen organization
Support menu execution and special diets as directed by the chef
Engage with residents to gather feedback and elevate dining experiences
Contribute to a calm, efficient kitchen focused on hospitality

Skills & attributes

Thoughtful, creative approach to cooking and presentation
Solid safety and sanitation habits; calm under pressure
Skilled in varied cooking techniques; eager to learn and improve
Team-oriented with strong customer service focus
Adaptable to resident needs and preferences

Relatable experience

Culinary roles in healthcare, hospitality, or hotels
Experience serving seniors or other vulnerable populations
Internships, culinary programs, or hands-on kitchen training
Service positions requiring teamwork and quality standards

Qualifications

At least 21 years of age
Education and/or experience in the culinary arts
Current negative TB test
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Good time management; able to work independently
