Administrative Assistant — Purchasing & Operations

Trebro Manufacturing — Billings, Montana

Trebro Manufacturing is looking for a highly organized, dependable Administrative Assistant to support our purchasing and operations team.

This is not just a general office position. A large part of the role will involve purchase orders, vendor communication, tracking deliveries, maintaining records, and helping keep materials moving into production.

Purchasing experience is helpful, but organization, follow-through, attention to detail, communication, and work ethic matter more. We can teach the right person our systems and processes.

What You'll Be Doing

Creating and processing purchase orders
Following up with vendors on orders and delivery dates
Tracking open purchases and overdue items
Communicating with suppliers by phone and email
Updating purchasing and ERP records
Helping resolve pricing, quantity, and shipping discrepancies
Organizing documents, records, and internal information
Assisting purchasing, production, and management with administrative needs
Helping make sure important details do not fall through the cracks

The Person We're Looking For

We want someone who is:

Extremely organized
Reliable and consistent

Detail-oriented and accurate
Comfortable handling many tasks at once
A strong communicator
Professional and persistent with vendors
Comfortable with computers and learning new software
Able to prioritize quickly
Willing to take ownership instead of waiting to be reminded

The goal is not just to send emails and enter paperwork. The goal is to keep things moving and close the loop.

Experience

Experience in administrative support, purchasing, accounts payable, inventory, logistics, parts, manufacturing, customer service, or office management would all be valuable.

Previous purchasing experience is not required for the right person.

Manufacturing or agricultural equipment experience is a plus.
