Dacotah Foundation is growing—and we’re looking for Part-Time Behavioral Health Technicians. This is the kind of role where what you do truly matters and changes lives!

About the Role
You’ll be working in our residential behavioral health programs, supporting individuals with mental health and/or substance use concerns. We use a trauma-informed, person-centered approach focused on stabilization, growth, and long-term recovery—meeting people where they’re at and helping them move forward.

Schedule & Flexibility

Day, evening, and overnight shifts available
Every other weekend required
Cross-train across programs for more hours, variety, and experience

This is a perfect role if you want flexibility while still doing meaningful work—great for students, second jobs, or anyone wanting more control over their schedule.

What You’ll Be Doing

Creating a safe, welcoming, recovery-focused environment
Supporting individuals through crisis, stabilization, and recovery
Monitoring safety, substance use, and mental health needs
Assisting with admissions, transitions, and daily structure
Using de-escalation and supportive communication skills
Facilitating or assisting with groups and activities
Monitoring medications and completing documentation
Helping maintain a clean, comfortable living space
