Full Job Description

Position: Accountant II

Compensation: $ 80000-90000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accountant II to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys hands-on GL work and a stable, process-driven environment. The team is looking for someone who can step in and make an immediate impact across general ledger, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close support.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Prepare journal entries for multiple entities
Balance and reconcile general ledger accounts
Support monthly and year-end close activities
Maintain daily cash activity and cash receipts
Resolve billing and payment discrepancies
Assist with sales tax and exemption certificate tracking
Support accounts payable check, wire, and ACH processing
Manage vendor and customer correspondence
Assist with customer setup and credit approvals
Help maintain records and accounting procedures

Required Qualifications & Experience:

CPA / CPA-eligible
3-5 years of accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or comparable experience
Strong general accounting knowledge
Advanced Excel skills, including formulas
High attention to detail and strong organization
Ability to work independently and within a team
Strong time management and deadline-driven mindset

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

Experience with inventory accounting
Variance analysis experience
Knowledge of sales tax functions
Cost accounting experience
Accounting and payroll background
ERP system experience
