Full Job Description

We are currently looking for a Full time Executive Assistant Housekeeper / Room inspector. Must have open availability and be able to work weekends. You will assist the Executive Houskeeper by overseeing daily housekeeping operations, and overall cleanliness of the hotel.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring all tasks are completed
Perform daily general clean duties: -Clean bathroom -Strip room of linen and trash -Make the bed -Dust, vacuum floors -Replace amenity items in the guestroom -Disinfect countertops
Inspecting rooms ensuring the highest standard of cleanliness
Train and assist team members and ensure all required training is complete according to standards
Clean, organize and restock housekeeping cart following hotel brand standards.
Follow proper use of approved chemicals and accurately label chemical containers.
Doing laundry: washing, drying, and folding sheets, towels, etc.
Taking out garbage and recycling
Communicate with the guests, associates and managers. Effectively respond to guest complaints.
Adhere to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the company.
Report maintenance issues and lost-and-found items promptly.
Be available to work weekends and holidays as necessary.
Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands.

SKILLS

Ability to speak English fluently (Spanish is a plus)
Frequently standing up and moving about the facility, frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility, frequently bending, stooping and kneeling.
Professional housekeeping experience is preferred
Ability to cooperate well with other housekeepers
Attention to detail in cleaning and restocking of room items

Job Types: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
