Total Comfort is growing! We currently have a tremendous job opportunity for an HVAC Sales Associate / Comfort Advisor!
This is a 100% commission-based role. Average Commission: $130k-$160k, $20 an hour training pay.
As an HVAC Sales Representative / Comfort Advisor, you'll assist homeowners in building a comfort system specifically designed for their home. You'll go out to a customer’s home to understand their needs and educate them on the best possible solutions by providing them with information regarding our services, along with available solutions to enhance their lives. You will be responsible for understanding codes, clearances, and capabilities of heating and air conditioning systems. The best part is that there is NO COLD CALLING! You will have pre-qualified leads set for you by our marketing department and retail lead generators.

We are currently hiring in the Minneapolis-St. Paul Metro Area.
Schedule: Monday-Friday with occasional weekends.

Job Responsibilities:
- Complete all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
- Attend required department meetings
- Attend company or vendor training as required
- Maintain any necessary licenses or certifications that may apply
- Experience in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability and willingness to work after hours on a limited basis, if necessary, to accommodate prospective buyers and handle heavy workload during busy season
- Exhibit professional conduct at all times, whether at the job site or driving company vehicles
- Participate in an on-call rotation schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications:
- Strong residential customer service experience
- Comparable or compatible sales experience required. NO prior industry experience is required.
- Very genuine and personable a must
- Strong steady work history
- Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, and organizational skills
- Able to climb in attics and crawl under houses
- Able to lift 25 lbs.
- Efficient and organized
- Ability to effectively close a sale
Job Requirements:
- Have at least 5 years of sales experience
- Stable job history
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years old
- Able to pass a Criminal background check and drug test, possess a clean driving record and current driver’s license
- Have a high level of mental and physical aptitude
