Full Job Description

Director of Finance

Dynamic Individual Needed

MedExcel USA, Inc. is a medical management service organization located in New Windsor, NY. MedExcel USA, Inc. delivers excellence through the integration of people, management, and technology.

We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to lead our Finance Department.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all day-to-day accounting operations, including but not limited to: monthly and year-end close processes for multiple entities; financial statement consolidation, preparation and analysis; general ledger account reconciliations; accounts payable and receivable; cash management and management of capital assets. This position is key lead in the managing the annual financial audit and tax preparation, in conjunction with external auditors, The Director of Finance will also assist with the annual budget process.

The ideal candidate will also be responsible to provide management direction and oversight to Finance Dept. including developing and mentoring staff. Candidate will be the finance lead in managing general ledger application (SAGE). The Director of Finance will be responsible to maintain an Accounting Policy and Procedures Manual to document the requirements necessary for prompt processing of expense reimbursements, vendor invoices, and other related items. Ideal candidate will also be required to attend functions as a professional representative of the Company and maintain professional working relationships with inside and outside clients.

Requirements (MUST):

* BA degree in accounting

* Min. five (5) years experience in accounting, finance, and budgeting

* Healthcare background

* Detail-oriented

* Ability to handle high volume and meet deadlines

* Proficient in cash basis and accrual accounting

* Proficient in Intercompany and Intracompany transfers

* Knowledge of PTET & BAIT taxes

* Extremely hands-on position

* Ability to handle 40 + companies

* Understand all aspects of payroll, including payroll taxes

* Ability to handle high volume and meet deadlines

* Ability to do W/C audits and Disability/PFL qtrly & annual reporting

* Ability to handle all insurance policies for all locations, General Liability, W/C, Disability,; Cyber, including completing applications

* Knowledge of malpractice insurance

* Ability to negotiate contracts

* Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office products

* Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule

* Extensive knowledge of accounting, accounting systems, financial management, forecasting, planning, budgeting, and operational policies and procedures.

* Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication
