About Us:

We are a well-established, physician-owned private practice specializing in Allergy & Immunology, Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine. Our focus is on delivering high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population in a supportive and collaborative clinical environment.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Billing and Credentialing Specialist to manage the full revenue cycle process and ensure timely and accurate credentialing for our providers. This is a key administrative role with opportunities to streamline operations and make a significant impact on practice efficiency and reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities:Medical Billing & Revenue Cycle:

Submit accurate claims to insurance companies (electronic and paper)
Monitor and manage claim denials, rejections, and appeals
Post payments and reconcile accounts
Conduct patient billing and collections as needed
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance guidelines and coding policies
Work closely with clinical staff for charge capture and documentation accuracy

Credentialing:

Complete and maintain credentialing and re-credentialing applications for all providers
Ensure compliance with CAQH, NPI, and payer-specific requirements
Track credentialing status and maintain accurate provider records
Liaise with insurance companies and third-party credentialing services
Monitor expirables (licenses, malpractice insurance, etc.)

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in medical billing and credentialing (Required)
Familiarity with Allergy & Pulmonary billing and coding (Preferred)
Experience with EHR and billing software
Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and follow up proactively

Full-time with benefits, Monday - Friday.
