Human Resources Generalist for Boutique Real Estate and Hospitality Company

About the Role

Corrado Properties is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to be based in our corporate office in Palm Beach, Florida. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support in various HR functions and performing general administrative duties. This role requires a combination of HR experience, strong bookkeeping skills, and the ability to handle a range of administrative tasks efficiently.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Recruitment and Onboarding:

o Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.

o Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions and ensuring completion of necessary paperwork.

· Employee Relations:

o Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.

o Assist in resolving employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts, while maintaining confidentiality and promoting a positive work environment.

· Payroll and Benefits Administration:

o Support payroll processing by maintaining accurate employee records, tracking attendance, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

o Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.

· Training and Development:

o Coordinate training programs, workshops, and seminars to enhance employee skills and promote professional growth.

o Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting and performance evaluations.

· HR Policies and Compliance:

o Help develop and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.

o Maintain accurate employee records and documentation to meet legal requirements and internal audits.

· General Administrative Duties:

o Perform various administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining office supplies.

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, and HR policies.
Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
Proficiency in bookkeeping principles and experience with payroll processing.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in HR software systems and familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
