Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Bar Manager/Lead Bartender to oversee daily bar operations, lead hospitality teams, and ensure exceptional customer service in a new restaurant soon to open in Boca Raton, FL. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality, controlling inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation regulations. Come showcase your management skills in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Craft Cocktail Development — Create and maintain an innovative, seasonally inspired cocktail list with accurate recipes and consistent execution.
Beverage Program Management — Oversee inventory control, ordering, vendor relations, cost management, and pricing strategies to ensure profitability.
Wine Knowledge — Support the wine program through pairing recommendations, staff education, and coordination with the kitchen on food‑and‑beverage pairings.
Daily Bar Operations — Maintain cleanliness, organization, equipment functionality, and adherence to alcohol and food safety standards.
Team Leadership — Train, mentor, and supervise bar staff; lead POS system training; foster a culture of hospitality and accountability.
Customer Experience — Deliver exceptional service, engage guests, and uphold hospitality standards of a craft‑cocktail destination.
Catering & Events — Assist in staffing, beverage planning, and execution for private events and catering functions.
Compliance & Safety — Ensure adherence to all alcohol service laws, food safety guidelines, and internal policies.

Qualifications

5+ years of bartending experience, including leadership or bar‑management responsibilities
Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, and beverage cost control.
Experience developing cocktail menus and training staff
Ability to manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
Skilled in POS systems and staff training
Excellent communication, hospitality, and team‑building skills
Ability to work nights, weekends, and event schedules
ServSafe Alcohol and Food Handler certifications
