Restaurant & Food Truck | 465 Industrial Park Dr, Boone, NC 28607

Full-time & Part-time | Start date: ASAP

Booneshine Brewing Company is hiring Line Cooks for our restaurant kitchen and our beer garden food truck. We’re a local brewery that takes food as seriously as beer — a scratch made kitchen with a focus on partnerships with local vendors. We’re looking for cooks who bring energy, skill, and consistency to a fast-paced kitchen and want to grow with a locally owned business.

Kitchen at a glance: You’ll be working a line of 5 cooks per shift, reporting to a Kitchen Manager or Shift Lead.

What You'll Do

Prep and stock your station for a smooth, organized service
Prepare vegetables, meats, and sauces to our standards
Cook menu items efficiently as part of a tight-knit kitchen team
Follow the managers lead to keep every plate consistent
Keep your station clean and minimize food waste
Track inventory and flag low stock before it’s a problem
Follow food safety and sanitation standards
Bring a positive, professional attitude to coworkers and guests

What You Bring

1+ year of experience as a line cook, prep cook, or restaurant cook
Speed and precision under pressure
A real interest in food and hospitality
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
Comfort working in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment
A good attitude and willingness to work on a team

Schedule

Shifts: 7:00-3:00, 12:00-8:00, 3:00-10:00
Weekend and holiday availability required
Day and night shifts available

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $15-18 hour, based on experience
