Full Job Description

ANTA Electric, Inc. is a rapidly growing electronics contract manufacturer located in Cedar Knolls, NJ. We are a woman owned company that offers design, engineering, and full turnkey services, which we are proud to produce 100% in the United States. We are seeking an Assembler for a full -time permanent position.

Job title: Assembler I

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs basic production activities associated with the production of Wiring Harnesses, Electromechanical Panel Builds, Assemblies. (Entry-Level)

Cut wire to drawing dimensions.
Apply labeling to assemblies.
Apply shrink tubing to assemblies.
Perform “tinning” operations on stripped wire as required by the drawing.
Have a basic understanding of mechanical assembly and how things fit together
Perform basic mechanical assembly operations using various hand tools.
Perform other basic tasks as assigned by the Production Supervisor

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

No prior work experience required; you must like working with your hands - being good at taking things apart & putting back together.
Previous mechanical build, furniture assembly, or other mechanical skills a plus

Other Requirements:

Must be able to read, write, and understand English
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to climb or use a step stool
Ability to work in small or tight spaces
Must possesses desire and ability to learn
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
