Marketing Content Coordinator

About the Role

The Marketing Coordinator is an integral member of the Saphire Event Group team, supporting the development and execution of marketing initiatives that build brand awareness, generate leads, engage our audiences, and ultimately connect couples with their perfect wedding venue.

This is a highly collaborative role that combines content creation, social media, campaign coordination, events, partnerships, public relations, analytics, and creative project management.

You’ll work closely with the Creative Brand Manager, Sales team, SEO consultant, graphic designer, PR partners, vendors, and venue teams to ensure SEG’s brand is consistently represented across every touchpoint.

You’ll be the person who helps turn beautiful weddings and unforgettable celebrations into compelling stories that inspire future couples.

What You’ll Do

Work closely with the Creative Brand Manager to develop and execute integrated marketing and advertising campaigns across social media, digital, print, local media, and other channels.
Manage and maintain content calendars for SEG’s social media platforms, ensuring content is planned at least one month in advance.
Create, coordinate, and publish engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and other relevant platforms.
Develop creative social media campaigns, Reels, TikToks, Stories, posts, and other content designed to increase engagement and drive qualified leads.
Write and publish approximately 2–3 blog articles per month, with a focus on helpful, inspiring, and SEO-friendly wedding content.
Coordinate and submit “Real Weddings” and other editorial opportunities to wedding publications and media outlets.
Work with photographers, videographers, couples, vendors, and internal teams to collect photos, stories, testimonials, and other marketing assets.
Coordinate photo shoots, tastings, marketing events, venue events, and other promotional opportunities.
Maintain and organize SEG’s digital photo and marketing asset library.
Collaborate with the SEO consultant to ensure website content is current, relevant, and optimized.
Partner with the Graphic Designer, PR company, printer, SEO consultant, and other external partners to coordinate marketing projects and campaigns.
Track campaign performance, social media engagement, website activity, leads, and conversions, making recommendations for optimization.
Prepare monthly and quarterly marketing and social media performance reports.
Collaborate with the Sales team to develop sales funnels, promotions, campaigns, and initiatives designed to generate and nurture leads.
Identify new opportunities for SEG to participate in community events, fundraisers, partnerships, and other initiatives that increase brand awareness.
Identify and develop strategic marketing partnerships, particularly opportunities that expand SEG’s reach across social media and within the wedding industry.
Create and distribute quarterly newsletters and company e-blasts.
Help encourage and amplify positive client reviews across social media, wedding websites, publications, and other platforms.
Stay current on wedding trends, marketing best practices, social media trends, and industry developments.
Participate in professional development opportunities, industry organizations, networking events, and educational programs.
Represent Saphire Event Group professionally and positively when interacting with employees, clients, vendors, media, and community partners.
Support a culture of kindness, collaboration, creativity, and exceptional service.
Maintain SEG’s standards, policies, protocols, and procedures.
Take on additional marketing projects and responsibilities as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone who is creative and strategic, but also highly organized and execution-focused. You should be comfortable juggling multiple projects, managing deadlines, collaborating with a variety of personalities, and jumping in wherever the marketing team needs support.

Our ideal candidate has:

Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent copywriting and creative writing abilities.
A natural eye for compelling visual content and storytelling.
Strong knowledge of social media platforms, particularly Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest.
Experience creating and managing social media content and content calendars.
A working knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
Experience coordinating marketing campaigns and projects.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, preferred.
Photography and video editing experience is a plus.
Experience in weddings, events, hospitality, tourism, or a related industry is a plus.
A genuine interest in weddings and the events industry.

The Details

This position requires travel to all Saphire Event Group venues. The schedule may occasionally include evenings and weekends for events, photo shoots, tastings, and other marketing initiatives.
