Full Job Description

Deuter USA & Ortovox USA Marketing Coordinator

Goal of the job:

Execute marketing strategy for Deuter and ORTOVOX in the US market in line with company objectives.

Qualification required

Bachelor’s degree

Work experience required

3-5 years experience in marketing, sales and communications

Reports to (job title)

General Manager

Specific authorization

Authorized to sign external contracts on behalf of Deuter USA & Ortovox USA with manager approval (<$10,000.00)

Regular jobs 60%

Evaluate and maintain marketing strategy for all channels (Retail, trade/events, digital, traditional, PR)
Direct PR agency with strategic brand objectives and targets of opportunity to promote Deuter and ORTOVOX brand and product
Media Planning and Advertising contracts
Creatively build brand awareness and brand positioning in the market.
Delegate tasks efficiently to external contracts
Oversee and manage eCommerce for deuter.com and Ortovox.com; strategize content and growth
Implement creative lead generation to support the sales team
Develop and/or oversee all advertising campaigns across all channels
Evaluate and manage all external contracted relations relevant to marketing (graphic design, print, PR, etc.)
Evaluate and manage all external partnerships relevant to marketing
Oversee trade show and event marketing strategy & execution
Oversee content creation & social media, including German social feed moderation
Maintain regular communication with Deuter Sport and Ortovox Sportartikel
Work closely with the sales manager and eCommerce strategist to assess market needs and opportunities

SEASONAL (2x per year per brand) periodic, temporary jobs 20%

Develop business planning and associated budget for marketing department for the fiscal year. Annual Budget in March/April and Budget Review in Oct/Nov
Establish the editorial calendar in line with product lifespan and sell in analysis
Lead catalog creation and editing process
Evaluate potential market position of new product releases and align support accordingly.
Brief deuter and ORTOVOX headquarters on strategy, budget

MONTHLY (12x per year) 20%

Manage monthly reporting, collecting and interpreting of data from all marketing channels, maintain accountability for ROI.
Track KPIs

OTHER

Attend trade shows and sales meetings (domestic and international) and Events as needed.
Attend media shows and media events as needed
Develop and perform marketing presentations at relevant meetings
Speak publicly on behalf of the brands when required

Budget planning and cost containment
Annual improvement in regard to Marketing KPIs

Salary: $60,000.00 to 65,000.00 DOE
