Network System Security Engineer - ThreatLocker, Meraki, Ubiquiti

RWK IT Services is seeking a high-impact troubleshooter and dedicated Network System Security Engineer whose expertise is deeply rooted in zero-trust security—specifically as a ThreatLocker expert (ThreatLocker Cyber Hero preferred)—alongside robust networking proficiency in both Cisco Meraki and Ubiquiti ecosystems. As a fast-growing Managed Service Provider, we manage fully outsourced IT, advanced cybersecurity, and co-managed IT services for a diverse portfolio of clients. Working with various unique organizational cultures, you will gain unparalleled hands-on experience across advanced networking, cybersecurity, and cloud systems. We standardize these dynamic environments using the industry's leading tools for automation and consistent service delivery.

Where you will fit in our team

Since we manage IT for many businesses, we require a candidate with strong, specialized knowledge to handle escalated, complex needs. You will be a core resource for our required knowledge base, specifically driving our capabilities in:

Zero-Trust Security & Endpoint Control (ThreatLocker expert / Cyber Hero)
Advanced Networking & Infrastructure (Cisco Meraki and Ubiquiti)
Microsoft 365 Architecture, Migrations, and Scripting (InTune, Entra, and Addigy for Macs)

If you have a get-it-done ability and you are a resourceful, high-impact troubleshooter who stays up to date with the latest technologies, we want to talk to you.

Must-Have Required Technical Experience & Skills:

Minimum of 4 years of experience in system and network administration
Expertise in ThreatLocker (ThreatLocker Cyber Hero certification highly preferred)
Deep networking expertise with full proficiency in Cisco Meraki and Ubiquiti (firewall, switch, WAP configuration and management)
Microsoft Windows Server, Hyper-V, Active Directory; DHCP; DNS; LDAP; Radius; NPS; PowerShell scripting
Microsoft 365 Azure, Entra, Intune, Exchange Online, Conditional Access Policies
RDS Management; VPC Management
Microsoft Defender Management; OneDrive/SharePoint
Cybersecurity knowledge and awareness as it relates to IT operations systems design and configuration

Preferred Technical Experience & Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, CompTIA Network+ or equivalent
CompTIA Security+ or equivalent
ConnectWise Manage experience is a plus
Experience in an MSP environment is a huge plus
