South Florida | Full-Time

Base Salary: $60,000 + Performance Bonuses + Uncapped Commission

Target Compensation: $80,000–$100,000+

About HK Defense Solutions

HK Defense Solutions is a growing South Florida security company providing professional security services to executive, corporate, luxury, residential, and high-profile clients.

Our work includes executive protection, luxury retail security, residential security, special assignments, and recurring security contracts.

We are looking for an ambitious Operations & Business Development Manager who can help us do two things exceptionally well:

1. Run and improve day-to-day operations.

2. Help grow the company.

This is not simply a scheduling position, and it is not a traditional sales job.

We are looking for someone who wants significant responsibility, understands how to solve problems without constant direction, and has the potential to grow into a senior leadership role as the company expands.

The Mission

Your success in this position will ultimately be measured by three questions:

Is HK Defense more profitable, growing, and materially less dependent on the owner’s day-to-day involvement because you are here?

You will work directly with the company President and gradually assume responsibility for increasingly significant portions of the business.

The right person will help build the systems, team, client relationships, and sales pipeline necessary for HK Defense to continue growing without every decision having to flow through the owner.

Operations Responsibilities

You will help oversee the daily execution of our security operations, including:
Managing scheduling, staffing, call-outs, and coverage issues
Overseeing supervisors, security officers, and field personnel
Maintaining service quality across client accounts
Building strong relationships with clients and serving as a primary point of contact
Resolving operational and personnel issues before they require executive involvement
Conducting site visits and quality-control inspections
Assisting with hiring, onboarding, training, and employee accountability
Improving operational systems, procedures, and communication
Monitoring overtime, staffing efficiency, and account profitability
Identifying problems early and taking ownership of solutions
Helping ensure new accounts are launched successfully
Protecting client retention and identifying opportunities to expand existing accounts

Business Development Responsibilities

You will also help build a consistent pipeline of new business.

Responsibilities may include:

Prospecting for new security accounts
Developing relationships with property managers, HOAs, condominiums, luxury retailers, corporate clients, and other referral partners
Developing opportunities within executive protection and high-end security markets
Attending networking events and developing strategic relationships
Managing leads and opportunities through our CRM
Following up consistently with prospects
Coordinating site assessments and client meetings
Assisting with proposals and presentations
Identifying cross-selling and account-expansion opportunities
Maintaining an organized and measurable sales pipeline

You will not be expected to close every major opportunity alone.

The company President will remain involved in strategic relationships and significant opportunities. Your job is to make sure opportunities are consistently being created, developed, followed up on, and moved toward a decision.

What We’re Looking For

We care more about capability, judgment, ownership, and leadership potential than having a perfect résumé.

The strongest candidate will likely have experience in one or more of the following:

Security operations
Military or law enforcement leadership
Executive protection
Property management
Hospitality or luxury-service operations
Business development or B2B sales
Multi-site workforce management
Field-service operations

Security industry experience is valuable but not required for an exceptional operational leader.

You should be:

Highly organized
Professional and polished with clients
Comfortable managing people
Comfortable holding employees accountable
Able to make decisions without constant supervision
Persistent with sales follow-up
Financially aware and conscious of margins
Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
Capable of communicating with everyone from security officers to executives and high-net-worth clients
Someone who takes ownership rather than explaining why something wasn’t their responsibility

Compensation

Base Salary: $60,000 annually

Plus:

Uncapped commission on qualified new business
Performance-based operational bonuses
Opportunity for increasing responsibility and compensation as the company grows

A strong performer should have the ability to earn approximately $80,000–$100,000+, with additional upside for exceptional business development performance.

Commission is generally tied to collected revenue and/or profitability, not simply signed contracts.
