Full Job Description

Join the MSU Bookstore team and help support a mission-driven organization dedicated to serving Montana State University students, faculty, and the Gallatin Valley. As a student-faculty owned cooperative, we are committed to providing affordable course materials and exceptional customer service while fostering a workplace culture built on respect, teamwork, and inclusivity.

The Accounts Receivable Specialist plays a key role in managing the Bookstores accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payment processing, account reconciliation, and collection of outstanding balances. Reporting to the CEO and Controller, this position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate professionally with customers and internal partners. This is an on-site position based in Bozeman, Montana, and may include occasional seasonal weekend or after-hours work.

If you are a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, front- facing, retail environment and contributing to the success of a unique, student-focused organization, we encourage you to apply. Some weekends and evening required. This is full-time, on-site position. No remote work available.

Salary: $22.00 DOE

Healthcare: All healthcare premiums are covered by the employer.

Retirement: 5.3% (Employee) & 7.0% (Employer) contribution to 403b through TIAA.

Supplemental: FSA and HSA options available. Allstate Bundles and Pet Insurance available (restrictions apply).

Paid Leave Plan: Paid-Time-Off (PTO) is available for all full-time eligible employees. Additional perks and benefits available after the completion of the employees probationary period.
