Full Job Description

Great White Companies MN LLC is accepting applications for the role of Extraction Manager to support our mission of offering the highest quality cannabis products while providing the best customer service experience in Minnesota. This role will oversee all extraction operations within a licensed Minnesota cannabis manufacturing facility. This role manages the extraction of raw cannabis material into for products while ensuring compliance with company Standard Operations Procedures and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day extraction lab operations, including hydrocarbon, ethanol, CO₂, or solventless processes.

Ensure compliance with all state regulations, seed to sale software (METRC) and Company Standard Operating Procedures for extraction, security, and sanitation.

Maintain and inventory control systems

Supervise and train staff, fostering a culture of accountability.

Develop, implement, and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for extraction, post-processing, and sanitation.

Monitor product quality, potency, and consistency; coordinate with QA/QC teams and third-party labs.

Oversee equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting; coordinate repairs and vendor servicing.

Manage raw material intake and optimize biomass utilization and yield efficiency.

Maintain proper hazardous material handling, storage, and disposal protocols.

Collaborate with R&D to develop new products and improve existing formulations.

Ensure accurate documentation for audits, inspections, and internal reporting.

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cannabis or extraction management, preferably in a licensed environment.

Deep knowledge of Minnesota cannabis laws, OCM compliance requirements, and METRC seed-to-sale tracking.

Proficiency in facility management, and extraction scheduling.

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or extended shifts, as operations demand.

Physical Requirements:

The Extraction Manager shall have overall good physical and mental health to work in a fast-paced work environment. The position requires standing for long periods, walking, bending, and some heavy lifting.
