OUTDOOR POSITIONS
Utility Vegetation Technician – $23–$28/hr + Paid Training + Travel Stipend
Full-time · No experience needed · We pay for all certifications

The Job
You’ll work outdoors on a small crew maintaining vegetation along utility powerlines.
Typical work includes:
- Backpack spraying during the growing season
- Light chainsaw work after leaf drop
- Managing invasive and unwanted vegetation
- Working safely around utility infrastructure If you enjoy staying active, being outdoors, and traveling with a tight crew, this is a great fit.
Schedule & Travel
- Travel required (VCS covers hotels + provides a daily meal stipend)
- Work is based out of the Athol, MA area Requirements
- Able to work outdoors in various conditions
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Willing to travel during the week
All training is provided — no experience required.
