Full Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Production Machine Operator to join our graphics and sign manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of production equipment, including large-format printers, laser engravers, flatbed cutters, and CNC routers. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in producing quality products, and works well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Operate large-format digital printers to produce graphics, banners, signs, and decals.
Set up and operate laser engraving/cutting equipment.
Program and operate CNC routers for cutting aluminum, PVC, acrylic, wood, and other sign materials.
Operate flatbed cutting tables for precision cutting and finishing.
Read work orders and production schedules to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.
Perform machine setup, calibration, and routine maintenance.
Inspect finished products for quality, color accuracy, and dimensional precision.
Load and unload materials safely while minimizing waste.
Keep production areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Assist with inventory of production materials and notify management when supplies are running low.
Work closely with designers, project managers, and installers to ensure customer expectations are met.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and communicate maintenance needs promptly.
Assist with other shop and production duties as needed.

Qualifications

Manufacturing or production experience preferred (sign industry experience is a plus).
Experience operating CNC routers, laser engravers, flatbed cutters, or large-format printers is preferred but training will be provided for the right candidate.
Ability to read measurements accurately and use tape measures and basic hand tools.
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
