ALULA is looking for a Part-Time IT Support Technician – On-Site Support to join our team and provide hands-on technology support across our facilities, programs, warehouses, and managed residential locations.
Our Managed Service Provider (MSP) handles the first line of helpdesk support. As the on-site IT expert, you'll step in when a problem requires someone to be there in person—whether that's setting up a new computer, troubleshooting a printer, helping an employee get connected, preparing equipment for a new hire, or resolving a hardware issue.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, working with people, and being on the move rather than sitting at a desk all day.
You'll help keep our employees connected, productive, and supported by:

Responding to IT support tickets that require hands-on, on-site assistance.

Traveling between ALULA facilities, warehouses, program locations, and managed residences to provide in-person support.

Troubleshooting common issues with:
- ?? Desktops and laptops

?? Mobile devices

??? Printers and scanners

?? Wi-Fi and network connectivity

?? Peripherals and other technology
- Supporting employees with Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and other business applications.

Setting up, configuring, imaging, and deploying computers and other devices.

Installing software, updates, drivers, and operating system updates.
-
Helping maintain and track IT equipment and software inventory.
-
Assisting with equipment repairs, replacements, and warranty services.
-
Supporting new employee onboarding by preparing accounts, computers, phones, and other equipment.
-
Assisting with employee offboarding and ensuring equipment and access are properly collected and deactivated.

Performing basic account and access tasks, including password resets, group membership, licensing, and multi-factor authentication support.

Troubleshooting basic wired, wireless, and VPN connectivity issues.

Supporting printers, conference rooms, shared devices, and other technology across multiple locations.

Assisting the Systems Administrator with routine system checks, alerts, and other IT needs.

Escalating more complex issues to the Systems Administrator with clear documentation and troubleshooting details.

Assisting with technology deployments, upgrades, and other special IT projects.

Supporting the IT Software & ERP Manager with on-site technology and business application projects, including Sage ERP, as assigned.

Creating and maintaining simple how-to guides, procedures, and other helpful resources.

Keeping accurate and timely documentation in the ticketing system.

Protecting confidential employee, organizational, and client information.

Following IT security policies and helping employees practice good cybersecurity habits.

This isn't a traditional sit-at-a-desk-all-day IT position.
You'll regularly travel between offices, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, program locations, and managed residences to provide hands-on support where it's needed.

- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field OR equivalent experience.

1–2 years of helpdesk, desktop support, or related IT experience, or:
- High school diploma/GED with at least 2 years of relevant IT experience.
- Working knowledge of Windows desktop environments and Microsoft 365.

Familiarity with basic networking concepts.

Basic familiarity with Active Directory/Entra ID, ticketing systems, and remote-support tools.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
-
CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, or similar certifications are a plus.
- Valid driver's license.

Reliable transportation and ability to regularly travel between ALULA locations.

Ability to occasionally work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, for scheduled maintenance or urgent IT needs.

Ability to lift and carry IT equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and perform hands-on equipment service.
