Full Job Description

NetSuite Administrator / IT Support Specialist

Summary/Objective

The NetSuite Administrator is responsible for the administration, training, support, and development of the operational use of the Netsuite Platform within the company. This position works closely with both the IT Director, company managers, and vendors on special projects and day-to-day IT support throughout the company.

Administration

Interact with teams to gather requirements, scope of work, and lead testing for on-platform NetSuite enhancements and bug fixes.
Execute and manage small and medium size projects with internal and vendor teams independently.
Perform NetSuite administrative functions, such as the creation and configuration of users, custom objects, fields, reports, workflows, etc.
Develop and maintain user permissions structure through user roles, profiles, groups, and security settings.
Debug complex technical issues, delivering appropriate immediate fixes & long-term solutions.
Uphold defined business practices and a high standard in data quality and integrity.
Serve as an in-house NetSuite expert.
Experience with Netsuite's SuiteCommerce interface to update the Webstore.
Create or Modify existing reports and dashboards.

Support

Provide frontline support for incident & technology inquiries, including answering and triaging queries, solving workflow issues, and executing System Administrator tasks issues quickly and efficiently.
Manage support queue, serving as subject matter expert and escalating issues as needed.
Develop and maintain points of integration to 3rd party systems and data sources.
Exhibit strong customer empathy in identifying issues and building solutions to address user needs.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex functional issues and user entry issues.
Update and maintain the NetSuite system documentation including training available to all users.
Be an autonomous problem solver - strive for answers independently, but know when it's time to ask for help, who to ask, and what to ask.

Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some hardware set up and testing may be required. This would require the ability to lift hardware (ie., monitors, hard drives and laptops), and bend or stand as necessary.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel
No travel is expected for this position except for special training needed to perform job requirements.

Required Education and Experience

Knowledge of Import/Export process using tools like CSV imports
Strong written and verbal communication skills working with a cross-functional set of stakeholders (support, training, end users, product managers, and developers).
Ability to analyze data and provide reporting to users.
Experience establishing and maintaining third party connectors and points of integration.
Data Integrity knowledge including the ability to clean and enhance data in Netsuite.
Enhancement and management of Cross Reference data in multiple systems.
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and oversee projects.
Experience working within a help tickets / project environment.
Experience with processes including maintaining system and process enhancement lists, gaining consensus on enhancement priorities and how to automate processes.
Proven ability to develop, document, implement, and train users.

Preferred Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in related field.
1 - 3 years of Proven experience with NetSuite administration.
Experience with Dell Boomi or other similar iPaas software a plus
Data Management of WMS and/or Inventory and Order Management experience is a plus.
Previous implementation experience, UAT testing, troubleshooting, and customizing the platform.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS.
