Full Job Description

Assistant Manager – Collision & Mechanical Repair Shop (Manhattan, NYC)

Busy, established NYC collision and mechanical repair facility is seeking a full-time Assistant Manager to support daily operations at our Direct Repair Program (DRP) shop with most major insurance carriers.

Responsibilities:

Assist with parts ordering, receiving, and returns.
Check in and verify parts for repair orders.
Write and review estimates using CCC One for collision repair.
Sell and manage mechanical repairs using Mitchell 1 Manager.
Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs and mechanical work.
Assist with daily production management to meet cycle time and quality goals.
Work directly with insurance adjusters, vendors, technicians, and customers.

Qualifications:

Experience with CCC One and Mitchell 1 Manager required.
Solid understanding of both collision and mechanical repair processes.
Ability to identify, explain, and sell necessary mechanical work.
DRP experience highly preferred.
Parts ordering and inventory management experience.
NYS Insurance Adjuster License preferred.
I-CAR and/or ASE certifications a plus.
Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
