Rocket Baby Bakery, located in Wauwatosa, WI, is looking for an experienced and dedicated Pastry Chef to lead our pastry department. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love crafting high-quality pastries, we’d love to hear from you!

What You'll Do

As our Pastry Chef, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pastry department. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading and mentoring a team of 3–4 staff members to achieve excellence. - Overseeing daily production of pastries, desserts, and baked goods. - Planning production schedules and executing recipes with precision. - Managing inventory and maintaining a well-stocked and organized workspace. - Ensuring all products meet our high standards for quality, presentation, and consistency. - Training staff to refine their skills and uphold bakery standards.

What We're Looking For

We’re seeking a candidate who brings expertise, leadership, and creativity to the table. To succeed in this role, you’ll need: - A minimum of 3 years of professional pastry experience. - Previous leadership or supervisory experience (required). - Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking fundamentals, and dessert production. - Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. - A commitment to maintaining quality, consistency, and cleanliness.
