Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Your expertise in food service and menu planning will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage practices.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, grills, ovens, and fryers.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or as a cook in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques, including knife skills and cooking methods.
Familiarity with catering services is a plus.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also taking initiative when necessary.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Understanding of dietary restrictions and food handling practices is essential.
