Oliver Inc. is looking for an accountable Bindery Operator to set up & operate Cutting, Folding and Saddle-stitching equipment. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional who can work independently and deliver efficiency, accuracy, and on-time performance.

About the Role:

As our Bindery Operator, you will:

Read and understand job ticket specifications. Set and operate machine to published specifications.
Set up the bindery equipment to the specifications of the project.
Identify, troubleshoot and correct product defects.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on bindery equipment as needed.
Operate the bindery equipment at the highest production speed while maintaining the highest quality products.
Effectively communicates the status of jobs and machines at shift-change to ensure smooth transition.

About You:

You're a fit for the role of Bindery Operator, if your background includes:

3+ years of experience in manufacturing setting up & operating various Bindery equipment.
In-depth knowledge of the mechanics and capabilities of equipment, tooling, supplies, etc.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, as well as work independently.
Ability to regularly lift, stack, bend, walk, use pallet jack, and carry up to 50 pounds.
Strong mechanical skills.
Team Player with ability to multi-task with deadlines while still meeting standards.
Demonstrate high ethical standards with fellow employees, customers, and the public.
Detail-oriented.
