Full Job Description

Job Title: Class A CDL Driver

Company: All Service Moving Location: On the Road (Home base: West Coast – OR,

WA, CA, AZ) Job Type: Full-Time | Over-the-Road Pay: From $25.00/hour + per-mile

rates + bonuses

$25/hour for loading and unloading
HHG hauling: $0.60 per mile
Freight hauling: $0.50 per mile (all drive miles); retention pay at hourly rate
Sitting days: 200 mile minimum

Job Responsibilities:

Operate Class A commercial vehicles (tractor-trailers) in full compliance with
FMCSA, DOT, and state regulations
Load, secure, transport, and unload household goods and freight shipments safely
and efficiently
Plan and follow assigned routes to meet pickup and delivery schedules
Complete and maintain accurate shipment paperwork, billing records, and electronic
logs
Communicate proactively with dispatch, customers, and crew members to
coordinate logistics and keep everyone updated
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report mechanical or safety concerns
immediately
Represent the company professionally at every customer touchpoint
Participate in ongoing training on safety protocols, company procedures, and
moving best practices
Resolve issues independently with sound judgment and a customer-first mindset

What We're Looking For:

Valid Class A CDL in good standing
Minimum 2 years of verifiable U.S. driving experience with a clean driving record
Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the workday
Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
Availability for full-time OTR work (4 weeks on / 1 week off rotation)
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision
Willingness to comply with ongoing DOT testing and company training required
Preferred:
2+ years of household goods (HHG) moving experience
Military HHG moving experience (a strong plus)
Familiarity with shipment documentation, billing processes, and inventory tracking
Customer-facing experience in residential or commercial moving
